Last night, for the first time in a long time, Jo woke up in the middle of the night screaming to be fed. After I fed her and returned to bed, Jay asked me why I thought she woke up.

L: I think she’s a little sick and didn’t eat much at dinner and was hungry.

J: And it’s dusty.

L: Dusty?

J: Yes, dusty.

L: Why would it be dusty in the baby’s room?

J: (exasperated) Because of all the construction.

L: What construction?

J: For the roller coaster.

L: The baby’s room is in the middle of the roller coaster construction and that’s why it’s dusty?

J: Yes, but just the current room. Not the real one.

Somebody needs a day off!
